Yoga, Mindfulness and Fun

This is a fun filled, active class for all the family 3 yrs up. Every class we go on a different adventure and tell stories through yoga poses. We develop awareness of breath and play yoga games/dance/sing before ending with a snuggly relaxation time. No yoga experience is needed, just a sense of fun! Every class includes a module on mindfulness from the Mindful Schools curriculum.
This is a great chance to take time out from your busy schedule and come together as a family. Aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters, grannies and grandads are all welcome to join in. Kids yoga has many benefits including

  • Manage stress through breathing, awareness, meditation and healthy movement
  • Building concentration
  • Increase their confidence and positive self-image
  • Feel part of a healthy, non-competitive group
  • Increased body awareness

What to Bring:
Limited mats are available in Greystones (first come first served!) You may wish to bring a blanket for relaxation at the end. Dress comfy and prepare to be active and creative!
As space is limited, these classes must be booked and paid in advance. We know that children can be unpredictable creatures, so if you need to cancel within 24 hrs you are welcome to take the class again at another time.
