Mindfulness, Relaxation and Yoga
Lourda has been practising Yoga and Mindfulness for 15 yrs and has enjoyed teaching since 2012. She holds a 180hr Meditation Teaching Diploma with Yoga Ireland and is trained to teach Mindfulness to Youth with the internationally recognised Mindful Schools. She is a qualified trust in birth prenatal yoga teacher through the Yoga Alliance accredited school The Elbowroom, a certified Kids Yoga teacher with Rainbow Kids Yoga and Restorative Yoga teacher with Puja Yoga. She has also completed the Total Yoga Nidra Foundation course with Uma Dinsmore-Tulli.
Lourda brings a calm, nurturing energy to her classes and is particularly passionate about teaching mindfulness and relaxation techniques to parents and families. As a busy Mom of three young kids she knows what a juggle life can be with many different roles to fulfill, and how difficult it can be to make time for yourself. In particular, through stressful pregnancies, she found mindfulness and yoga practice of huge benefit in providing the pathway through life’s many twists and turns. Lourda likes to create a warm, welcoming space in each class where everyone feels at ease and can simply let go.
